Very Good

A great place to spend 3 to 4 days, you can either chill by the pool or enjoy multiple beaches areas, 2 of them within the Lagoon area (so quite beaches), and a 3rd one facing the Arab Ocean which was my favorite as it had waves and more fun! Multiple Restaurants and entertainment options for family. Better to go with all inclusive package otherwise you will struggle to find places aside of the hotel restaurants to eat (the location of the hotel is a bit distant from center which means mostly you will spend your evening in the Hotel)

Since it is a resort by the beach, you can imaging that Humidity is quite High which affects the rooms as well, so the mold smell is quite bothering (until you get used to it). I feel some refurbishment is needed very soon otherwise it will create a bigger issues in the near future.

Relaxing, convenient and friendly

This place exceeded our expectations - there is a lot of things to do, several beaches, lots of walkable spots and plenty of food and drink stalls. Staff are nice and friendly and the buffets were nice. We also booked the spa and had all the facilities to ourselves.

Good Hotel-Complex

If you want to have an all inclusive holiday and a big hotel complex (like a small city) it’s perfect for you! The hotel is great- but you don’t get to know the local impression from Oman. It depends what are you looking for.

- Enormous hotel complex -we ordered “breakfast to go” because we checked out really early in the day but for a 5-star hotel we were dissapointed. 2 salads not marinated, oranges who are kind of like hard to eat whitout cutlery and 2 small sandwiches with cheese. We expected more variety.

Good food and good staff but needs renovation

Location is good and staff is very nice.

Facilities especially the swimming pool and the sun beds need an update. It looks and feels very used and old. The ladder to go in the swimming pool is loose. The Sun beds are worn out and losing pieces. There is no proper kids swimming pool but it is a repurposed jacuzzi. The showers are located at the other end of the swimming pool and therefore not used by any guests before entering the pool. The bed mattress feels very worn out too and not as comfortable as expected for a 5 stars hotel.

The bar staff were not friendly at all. The room was closed up and had a very musty smell when we arrived. The damp smell remained for our stay. The buffet meals In the hotel were very busy so not very relaxing.

The breakfast selection was good.

The breakfast selection was good. Staff were friendly and attentive as well. The room was very spacious and the bathroom size was generous too, however there are no mirrors anywhere near a power point, so for the ladies this is a problem. Also, the complimentary airport transfers were very much appreciated.

The wifi signal outside of the main building was weak and non-existent in some areas of the property such as the beach. Also, when we checked in they allocated a twin bed room despite my booking request for a double/king bed for my husband and I, which was readily available. Furthermore, there is a small zoo on the property and the animals looked a little worse for wear, particularly the adult sheep and lamb which appeared skinny and malnourished.

Lovely beachfront location within close proximity to all the beautiful sites

The property is stunningly located within a stone's throw away from a number of beautiful beaches, which spand miles of golden shoreline. We upgraded to an "all- inclusive" package, which I would recommend doing if you intend on having a few drinks, as alcohol is expensive. Otherwise, I probably wouldn't upgrade as I would have liked to have had the option to experience the local cuisine. The buffet had everything that you would expect and was nice (but possibly a bit repetitive in terms of the spread.) The hotel is modern and appears to have been recently refurbished. There is easy access from the hotel to all the major sites of interest. I would highly recommend doing a half day tour of the local area including the sinkhole, springs, caves, waterfalls etc. The weather in Oman was bliss (and offers a pleasant escape from the sweltering heat of Dubai.

When we first arrived we were given a room which was extremely damp and had a very bad smell, which was in everything, including the sheets and the hallways. We mentioned this to reception and they provided an alternative room immediately, which was significantly better and a lot more modern and odor free, within the main hotel itself (as opposed to within a separate building on the grounds, which we prefered). The drinks offering on the all inclusive package isn't fantastic- e.g. no sparkling wine, only "Colt 45 beer" (which I have honestly never heard of), not the best selection of cocktails as everything basically consisted of budget orange juice & cranberry made from dilute, premium brands are not included. The alternative is to spend circa 10 bucks per drinks to avail of the premium selection, which is not on the all inclusive package. The buffet was slightly repetitive. The tour which we booked was extremely expensive (although in all fairness it was worth it, and if you are traveling all that way, you kind of feel obliged to do a tour and essentially have no choice but to pay the extortionate price). You can alternatively book a car in the lobby of the hotel, however, we concluded that it would be very stressful to navigate around the mountains of Salalah in search of the sites (which are not the easiest to find)...

Every thing since I arrivals from airports and they’re picked me and my family from airport to the hotels for free charge theThe location and the staff the rooms was beautiful decoration on the top of the bed the shine star but me in other places like haven the restaurant had got good food each station have one chefs as will they have ATM bank inside the hotels it was amazing along with the traveling boats that was places at the marina which was taking us around the place was beautiful the small zooZ and the kids club was amazingly the pool side was different store that I cannot tell you about you should visiting the place to know about what I was talking

The rent car office had a high prices for the car witch cause me to rents from outside

Amazing value.

Amazing value. Great location. Staff were super helpful and friendly. Easy to see all the local sites from this location. Lovely pool and beach. Breakfast was well equipped and changed each day. Good quality food

The hotel was very damp, which meant the floor of the room was a bit slippery and clothes felt rather damp and didn't dry properly

Nice 2 day break.

The overall facilities are nice and the hotel is in a nice quaint place. Some small things could be improved with the staff but I think this is due to lack of training rather than incompetence. Overall had a nice few days stay. Worth Adding there is a cute little zoo which is a nice surprise and worth the visit

A perfect hideaway

An excellent experience. A very well maintained facility with access to all you need for a family break. Multi-cuisine restaurants and excellent size swimming pools and a nearby water park. Rooms are of perfect size with wide corridors. It is nicely landscaped with a tropical theme that is generally the theme of Salalah. Highly recommended!

Nice hotel, good location within the resort

Staff were helpful and friendly. Room was clean, spacious, comfortable and functional. The ceiling ‘ star’ lights were a treat to sleep under especially for my daughter. Good en-suite facilities too. Pool was great But the hotel needs to fix the jacuzzis. restaurant also good.

The only downside was that the temporary bed they gave us for my daughter was rock hard so we opted for the sofa bed for her instead which was less hard in places but unfortunately hard in others. It was also on two-different levels so not comfortable and she ended up sleeping in our bed.
